Hi. Newbie needing assistance here !

I want to get Electri6ity to have the same tone than what you can hear in this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6owUjeEjpe0

There are some informations :

Guitar, Signal Chains:

Rhythm Guitar 1 (Panned Left):
Electri6ity (Lipstick) Pre-Amp = on } Guitar Rig 4 Pro } Demon Distortion } Lead 800 } Pro-Filter } Control Room (Modern 4x12) } *Shelving } *Parametric } *Parametric (*Equalizer) } Rotator } Studio Reverb

Rhythm Guitar 2 (Panned Right):
Electri6ity (Rickenbacker) Pre-Amp = on } Guitar Rig 4 Pro } Demon Distortion } Lead 800 } Pro-Filter } Control Room (Modern 4x12) } *Shelving } *Parametric } *Parametric (*Equalizer) } Ensemble } Twin Delay

Lead Guitar:
Electri6ity (Les Paul P90) Pre-Amp = on } Guitar Rig 4 Pro } Transamp } *Shelving } *Parametric } Pro-Filter } Gratifier } Control Room (British 2x12) } *Shelving } *Parametric } *Parametric (*Equalizer) } Psychdelay } Phaser Nine } Studio Reverb

I tried to rebuild the chain, but I can get nowhere near this sound.

So, how exactly do I do that ?

Why don't you try the collaboration approach?
Link a mp3 of "what you have", put up the Tabs for download, and maybe someone will play it for you with a real guitar and amp?
I don't work here, I just feed the trolls.

There are some great tips and tricks, the kvr electri6ity thread.
You learn by doing. Also, these chains and presets, need to be changed according to your song. They need tweaking for long sustained chords and high note leads.

just having the gr4 patches wouldn't really help, because you'd also need to tweak the under the hood stuff in electri6ity itself, as well.. to get the full sound.

I don't have the patches for that song available.. but you can try the ones in this download: http://progtronic.com/files/Progtronic_ ... _Files.zip

load the electricity instrument in the zip file and run it through the included GR patch.

hopefully this will help you get a better idea of how I designed the guitar tones.

For metal tone? Stop using Guitar Rig. There are much better (and FREE) ampsims that kick GR's ass when metal tones are concerned. LePou, AcmeBarGig, TSE X30 (or X50), etc. Couple this with God's cab IRs (also FREE) and you're in metal land before you know it.

Engl Powerball Amp, called German Gain in Amplitube should do that tone with some messing with the settings and compressor might only cost you 30 euros if you download amplitube free and buy only the German Gain amp and cab in the custom shop.
You can demo it before you spend I would demo the Soldano SLO 100 and 5150 too.

Hum, thanks for the reply, but, I loaded the two presets, and the sound is very poor, There must be something wrong with my computer ...
