Maybe TAL will make an Alpha-Juno emulation next. etc etc

In the meantime you can try this one.

(In case youre wondering; Width-Modulation for the Saw is included, as are various Envelope modes.)

Would (should?) it be hard to adapt this version and include the stuff from the Alpha Juno into it ? It's basically a similar architecture isn't it ?

This question has been asked earlier in the string in several forms and the answer remains the same:

...if the plugin were changed then it would no longer be a Juno-60 emulation.

Maybe TAL will make an Alpha-Juno emulation next. etc etc

That's what I am getting at. If the additional things were implemented the plug-in would be an alpha juno emu and released seperately.

What I am asking is the base sound of the J60 similar to that of the Juno Alpha ? Would the PWM on saw and the additional stuff be enough or is it a whole re-design based on a different build completely ?

I don't know the tech specs of the Juno 60 or the Alpha Juno so I dunno how they differ.

I see no problem with creating a pan-Juno emulation including the best of all Juno models. After all, the name U-NO-LX does not limit the plugin to the Juno 6 or 60 Smile

By the way, I was just checking out Korg's own Polysix emulation, that synth used to be one of the early Junos's biggest rivals with similar specifications. It costs 50$ Wink

L=50
X=10

Ah, I thought it stood for luxury because there were previous inferior versions of a different name Very Happy

Is it just me or is there a little problem with the patch structure? Yesterday I recorded a little sequence using the mellow piano preset located in one of the four preset banks, but when I opened the project today, it loaded a different preset.
Or is it a problem on the part of my DAW?

OK, I just recorded a little melody on my other DAW, same problem, the preset is not remembered. So it is probably a problem with the U-NO-LX.

Or maybe it only happens with the demo version. But as long as that is not clarified, I certainly won't buy the full version.

'Jiva' is a word for 'soul' in Sanskrit Smile Wouldn't be a bad name for a synth.

I do like the Korg emu's. Just wish they'd go 64bit native !!!

braj is the word for pot/hash in swedish Laughing

On topic: I layered this synth with that JX8P SE and they merged sooo fine together! It's amazing that i have virtual access to almost all those synths i urged for ten years ago!
Just to make it more awesome i run them through SK Note STRIPBus and Roundtone afterwards with medium noise added! Very Happy Im not really sure where to go for a more vintage tone after that.
U-NO-LX sounds sooo good with these kinds of processing units! The sound is raw and thus must be tamed Smile

Yeah yeah, enough with the praise Very Happy Brain got overstimulated from last session

Well that explains everything! In Sanskrit Braja is the center of Heaven, God's abode.

I assume you have the paid version already. Did you use factory presets as well? I am asking because of my post from 2:21pm on the previous page...
