I don't know which "lead" you're talking about, to be honest. Care to post a video and a timestamp?
Anyway - I see he's holding a competition to remix this track over at beatport, so I figured it might help you out a little to have the sounds solo'd - in terms of recreating the sounds, or figuring out the notes. http://play.beatport.com/contests/zedd-spectrum/ |

You probably should go learn that before "producing" music then. |

I had a go making up the chords by ear as I don't play piano.
Seems close enough for the most part i think. http://www13.zippyshare.com/v/45151657/file.html (The solid notes) Cmaj A#Maj(Inverted Root) A#Maj EbMaj EbMaj(Inverted 7th) AbMaj G#Sus4 GMaj A#Maj Can't figure out what key it's in though, Beatport says C Minor but that doesnt seem right. |

midi file http://www.mediafire.com/?em3mpyai7fops93 Putting that together with my notes and you pretty much have the whole song there. |

Best guess at key for the kick? I've been using B but I'm not sure I'm spot on. |

Ab, Bb, Cm, Eb, Fm, Bb, C, Fm7, Gm7 I'm not sure if this is relevant to what the original poster was looking for, but I've been working on transcribing the Moog part, and I agree with Local Hero's chord progression. The track is in C minor, but he modulates to C major in bar 7, which really makes this progression fantastic, in my opinion. Here's a link to my work on recreating this part so far: http://soundcloud.com/dneal/zedd-spectrum-chord-plucks It's probably not quite exact yet, but it's getting close. |
