Welcome back from the World Tour. I reckon you enjoyed yourself if this track is anything to go by.
The intro is just sublime. A pulsing rhythmic intro marches slowly with the inescapable certainty that something evil is afoot and that vulnerable jazzy-clarinet lead is inspired. Later in the piece, we are subjected to mechanical machinations of momentous magnitude, all punctuated with some masterful mangling. Exceptional track, Matt. Highly original |

Cool track. I liked all the sounds except for the 'tick tick tick' one which starts at ~1:36. It just distracts me too much from all the other cool sounds. |

Cheers Tim! I've been recording a lot but haven't felt much like finishing a track... fairly typical cycle for me, and others no doubt. When I do finally get motivated I have a lot of new bits to work with... mostly recording Octatrack and Machinedrum lately. (the show went really well - thanks for asking - hope to have some audio/video soon)
Thanks a lot n0rd! ...and sorry about the ticks. The track was made with very broad strokes - I recorded a number of long passages of myself jamming on the Octatrack then simply layered a few of them together. |

If you didn't use it, I know you have used something like it on past tracks... that kind of really subtle far away / or underwater sound. This track reminded of me of that a little, but I'm not sure. (I have been trying to figure out how you do that super subtle reverb but haven't really had much success) The track to me seemed lightly ominous overall. Something about one of the main rhythmic parts... thanks for sharing this! Steven. |

Really like that lead. The whole thing's quite nice, it's a keeper for me, but that stood out. Much enjoyed. Thanks. |
