Hello
I have started experimenting with lfo waveforms (using the dnr excellent waveforms and also a couple converted using the alchemy tool wave2alchemy). Just wondering what is the best preset to hear the differences in each lfo? thanks |

IMO the best way to test an LFO shape is to start with a cleared patch and assign the LFO to pitch. Turn off "sync" and try increasing / decreasing the LFO speed to get an idea of the kind of effect it's going to have.
This works because our ears are more sensitive to small changes in pitch than (say) volume or panning. The same technique can be used for any modulation source / in any synth. Peace, Andy. |
