another one bits the dust and they were releasing new stuff all the time.

I am sorry for them but maybe their use of big words in every description just threw people.

I wonder if they were C/R and if so if they gave unlocked ones to their customers.

Website is now officially innacessble.

KVR database says their plugs are C/R. Happy that I have nothing from them Wink . Just saw their site with such news.

This is another good reminder of why it's better to buy C/R products only from well ebstablished companies

Or boycott C/R completely and get Devs to use reasonable copy protection.

I've thought about boycotting companies that use this form of copy protection.
I am just too late for that because I already hooked on so many good effects and especially instruments that use C/R. Would I want to miss out Omnisphere, DCAM, all NI stuff etc? No way I would.
My daw, Studio one C/R too.

I don't believe that any of these companies I mentioned are going to be out of business today. If it happens after 5 years I will worry about it then.

And besides... I am too busy boycotting USB dongles Very Happy

Yes, Kontakt is my only sticking point. I do have other C/R ones but I will eventually get rid of those.

It's easier for me to choose fx plugins that dont use C/R because there is so much to choose from. But there is no way I could do it with instruments Smile There are only a few that I am actually interested in buying.

Probably but who could have guessed that Gigasampler ( = Tascam + Teac ) would have disapeared so abruptly. My last computer where it was installed just crashed a few months ago. Now its gone for good. ( And it was rather pricey as well )

THis is why I prefer ........... dongles uhuhuhu.

But I have otehr C/R as well.
