another one bits the dust and they were releasing new stuff all the time.
I am sorry for them but maybe their use of big words in every description just threw people. I wonder if they were C/R and if so if they gave unlocked ones to their customers. Website is now officially innacessble. ---- Please call me Theo. |

This is another good reminder of why it's better to buy C/R products only from well ebstablished companies |

Or boycott C/R completely and get Devs to use reasonable copy protection. ---- PM me for 10% off at the FabFilter shop (New Customers Only). |

I've thought about boycotting companies that use this form of copy protection.
I am just too late for that because I already hooked on so many good effects and especially instruments that use C/R. Would I want to miss out Omnisphere, DCAM, all NI stuff etc? No way I would. My daw, Studio one C/R too. I don't believe that any of these companies I mentioned are going to be out of business today. If it happens after 5 years I will worry about it then. And besides... I am too busy boycotting USB dongles Last edited by filter303 on Fri Jun 29, 2012 1:58 am; edited 1 time in total |

Yes, Kontakt is my only sticking point. I do have other C/R ones but I will eventually get rid of those. ---- PM me for 10% off at the FabFilter shop (New Customers Only). |

It's easier for me to choose fx plugins that dont use C/R because there is so much to choose from. But there is no way I could do it with instruments |

Probably but who could have guessed that Gigasampler ( = Tascam + Teac ) would have disapeared so abruptly. My last computer where it was installed just crashed a few months ago. Now its gone for good. ( And it was rather pricey as well ) THis is why I prefer ........... dongles uhuhuhu. But I have otehr C/R as well. ---- www.lelotusbleu.fr Soundbanks for Vsti 5000+ Instruments for 23 Vstis, 8 Sound Designers, Hours of audio Demos. The Sound you miss might be there [Xils-Lab Team] |
