Lovely piece of music. The piano in the first half sounds gorgeous - how did you get hold of that unreleased Erik Satie recording? You turn around the mood on this so subtly yet so effectively. I doff my imaginary cap, sir |

Side Band Also available at SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.com/polyslax/side-band Thanks to all who have a listen. Really love that piano at the start. It reminds me of the treated piano sounds that David Sylvian and Holger czukay (?) use on Davids solo albums like " brilliant trees ", " plight and premonition " etc.... I really agree with how it sounds like a grey day in November. It's full of a brooding kind of reflection. I really like the unusual chords and the juxtaposed discordant beats.....always a great contrast in mix-terms as they accentuate / augment each other. Lovin' the little jazz guitar drops as well. Those parts remind me of Sylvians' "taking the veil". Just out of interest , are you a fan of David Sylvian / Japan ? Great work Poly.....as Always !! You can do no wrong mate =) |
