What kind of trouble did you have with tattoo, because I'm interested... I already have Xfer Nerve (I know, it's a sampler not a synth) but I'm wondering of it's interesting to get tattoo too. Reaper just wouldn't load it.No matter what I tried. So sold it and bought geist instead. Sometimes things just turn out for the best. |

Just want to say I really like this company and how they do business.
When I first realized they didn't have demos I was kinda like - "HUH??? That sucks Then I actually took the leap, bought a plugin (the excellent Filterstation), and it hit me: THIS IS GREAT! I didn't have to contend with typical demo restrictions (repeating noise, volume dropouts, timeouts, etc...), because... I owned it! I could take a month, and REALLY test it out. Sure, I was a bit concerned that a return wouldn't go smoothly, but out of my nine purchases from AudioDamage, I've only felt like returning one plugin (Tattoo), and only did that because I bought it hoping to use it in a very specific way it wasn't appropriate for. Since then, I've kind of wished I still had it, because like every other plugin of there's I've tried, Tattoo has unique qualities that allow it to do cool things other plugins don't. Anywhoooo... long story short: the return was a breeze. I think I requested the return on a Saturday; not expecting anyone to get back to me till at least the following work week, and I got a nice, professional, problem-free reply Sunday morning. I am now a big fan of their business model, plugins, and support. IMO, they've got their sh!t together. ---- drab |

I could go on and on about Audio Damage.
Interface Design I think they're on a freak'n roll. Parameter controls that allow you to choose whether to scroll through the ones, tens, hundreds, or thousands? YES PLEASE - more of that! ---- drab |

Picked up Automaton. Already own BigSeq2 and Kombinat DVA, both of which rock heartily. Maybe I'll purchase Replicant again. |

Ok, no demo, no buy. Having tried the Audio Damage way; I feel the opposite to you: Screw demo's, just give me the strong impression I can buy it, try it for a good amount of time, and return it hassle free. ---- drab |

Ok, no demo, no buy. I know it's a pretty weird business model, but they truly do offer a no-questions money back or exchange policy. Unless you expect AD to go belly up sometime soon, you in essence have a 30 day window to demo the full product. |

The problem with that approach is that I'd like to try a few of their plugins but I don't have the cash to buy them all so how do I test them to see if they're suitable or add a new spin to the dozens of other glitch, delay, filter plugins out there? I'm not wasting my time or my bank balance buying a plugin without knowing what it does and then begging for my money back if it doesn't inspire me. I think it's a shame that AD don't recognise this. |

Bummed. Bought Automaton last week So I bought Axon too. Been waiting for it to be a bit cheaper as it seems a bit left-field. 11 AD plugins so far, just need Discord3 and I'm happy. Lot of love for Eos, BigSeq2, Filterstation and Panstation. |

...I am now a big fan of their business model, plugins, and support. IMO, they've got their sh!t together. I got to say it's the opposite with me. Though I like the plugins I got, I don't like their business model, and support - well, it's almost nonexistant ! Or how would you describe it, if you don't get two times a reply anymore asking about an update to Dubstation (the first plugin ported to x64), which just doesn't work on my system (the ONLY plugin I got, which won't work.) I reported this a year ago, with an answer, that new installers will be soon available. What happened...nothing. BTW, I asked kindly, and there have been other people here on kvr, who wrote about having issues with Dubstation. Don't tell them about bugs (it's not their fault), don't ask for updates, don't ask for demos (which would mean, people could test them before they buy them, and maybe find bugs...God, this would mean, they had to work on fixing them...), just give them your money. OK, now let Chris Randall join in, telling us this is all bullshit, and that I'm an asshole. Yours, in anger losan |
