http://soundcloud.com/chucksilva/somebody-skream I'm into ALL different styles of music. I love it all, At the moment I'm trying to learn Dubstep? It's fascinating and ripe for originality! And it's a great way to exorcise Ableton's power. You know? It's fun to mess with all those delicious FX and stuff! And those funky 'wobble' rhythms are interesting and fun to play with too? Regarding the title of this track-Prison Letter: The idea of being in prison for a long time is just so unnerving-really creepy...somehow I feel for them even though they most likely belong there..I'm a strong believer in rehabilitation though...and totally against the death penalty...many of us make stupid mistakes in life...bla bla bla... Please feel free to friend me on facebook! o-@ Thanks for listening! Last edited by any1particular on Thu Jul 12, 2012 12:19 pm; edited 3 times in total |

old kvr "in" joke here: i know dubstep, and this ain't dubstep. (forgive me, just a joke)
A bit too slow for dubstep, isn't it? lol, I don't know, haven't really listened to enough to know. But it does sound cool, even for an old guy (I'm 57). Did NOT like the rap part, you could have left that out and I would totally dig it. |

...I'm liking your candid and thoughtful critique bluedad...I'll consider removing the rap part... yeah..the tempo...I'm hardly a dubstep connoisseur.. DubStep has turned into an 'ambigious' genre much to the horror of the British archetypes me thinks? Still. It's really fun stuff-opens a whole new world of possibilities? Thank you so much for the post and support!!! |

Thanks for asking Jan. 'Tis very thoughtful (can you tell I've been reading Frank McCourt?). The 'spirit' (as the American Indians would say) has been testing me of late....I was going down down down hill...and as it turns out... I have high anxiety which can be quite crippling-who woulda thunk? Anyway...... I'm eating fresh fruits and vegetables (mostly organic)-lean meats-legumes...no processed foods like breads...not even whole wheat...anyway...you know...Dr Oz talks this shit everyday..but when a doctor says it -it gives it weight? You know? And I'm taking an anti anxiety/adult ADD drug...i feel like Ive been reborn...really felling good thank you very much...it's true...we are what we eat... Looking forward to hearing what you've been up to? Thanks for posting. |
