I am not being a troll, or because i use reason heavily now and am forcing myself to "like" the in built reverb,
I just really like it THAT much! A jack of all trades and master of most, such low cpu usage, 11 year old code, yet to me competes with the current crop of top end plugins. what am i doing wrong or is this just the way it is? The reverse algo is astonishingly good btw for special efx, the best i heard ever besides that was overloud breverb 2, i am very lucky to be able to recreate that in reason. This is a sit in the mix reverb. It just works. I am in reverb heaven, Will still grab tsar 1 when i want ridiculous thick lush sound, but, i really really like rv7000 ---- Please call me Theo. |

It's certainly a software classic! Just wish Props could release a true-stereo version with some stereo control.
U-he's reverb should be available soon in the PropShop. ---- Reason6;Numerology;StudioOne;ValhallaRoom;Equality;ToTape; OldTimer;MonoPoly;Wavestation;M1;Aalto;LoomerString; |

i guess being completely deaf in one ear i didn't miss the stereo bit I am not huge on Uhbik-A unfortunately but i think his flanger is WITHOUT PEER. as is of course Diva and Ace, two of the most brill synths of all time. But as much as i love URS i find the verb too grainy *for me*. YMMV of course!!! mind you, i'll be buying at least three of the uhbiks (F, P and the delay, cause it's so easy to use to get instant results) ---- Please call me Theo. |

I agree with ttoz that RV7000 is a wonderful reverb, just brilliant.
I also agree though that the lack of stereo image is an issue. So best used as an insert rather than on a bus. |

Another good plugin in reason that I can't use in my own DAW?
This rustles my jimmies. Good troll op 10/10. |

I agree Theo - it's a great FX unit and particularly the space and reverse FX.
I also really like the Scream unit and also the two basic synths, Maelstrom and Subtractor. The synths are easy to replace by other vsts, but I'm yet to find a vst which does the same thing as the rv7000 or scream so easily and satisfyingly - and I have many other reverb/delay and distortion FX. @soundnaut - what's with the unnecessary troll comment? soundnaut wrote: ... It was a dry joke, but like most dry jokes they are notoriously hard to come across well in writing. As for Reason etc - it is excellent (it was my first music software purchase in 2005) but it's not worth the outlay imo if you can already easily produce the sort of music you like in the software that you use. And FL does have one thing that none of the others has - the wonderful speech synthesizer program, which is a new version of the classic 'ShitTalker' (and it works on Win7 unlike 'ShitTalker'). Of course, FL also has many other wonderful things going for it too. |

yes the scream has many juicy sounding algorithms that can beef up any sound, i wish it inserted as a multiband, but suppose in reason any effect can easily be turned into one.
It does need a straight up slitter with crossovers though rather than having to patch eq's into the splitter. Would save a lot of hassle. ---- Please call me Theo. |

The RV7000 is one of the best reverbs I've heard, hardware or software. I don't use Reason but I've heard it plenty of times in different studios I've worked in. |

A sampler doesnt have its own sound though, what im saying is that fl has crappy exclusives unless your totally into them. |

Really, I don't like it... I always liked the other reverb RV-7 in reason.... The low density setting is one of my favorites.
I prefer my vst reverb though. What I do love in reason is Scream4!!!! but ever since I went 64bit and lost rewire I don,t use it. ---- Imperfection is beauty.
