Rekindle the old flame!! just thought I'd share |

Kore's a great instrument, very flexible. I still use the 16 out version regularly but I no longer host plug-ins in it and I only use official soundpacks and the internal engines now. Don't have the hardware though. It's a shame NI dropped it but that's a whole other bag of worms |

I only have Kore Player, but use it still. Like it a lot. Very hands on.
Will the Kore Software become public domain at some point? |

Kore is still the centre of everything I do. Until I can find a satisfactory replacement, it'll stay that way.

I would dust it off IF those five of eight knobs would still be working flawless and not slipping parameters wildly and erratically up and down. This clearly isn't a software issue. It's a hardware failure. I wonder if it helps to open up the casing completely and see if I can fix anyhting (e.g. by cleaning) because other than that my KORE 2 controller is a brick thanks to these troubles. |

Kore is awesome - I do hope software signing on Mountain Lion doesn't kill it ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |

I've heard of (and had) Kore 1 controllers with those issues, but not Kore 2 controllers. Ouch =( As to Kore, I still use it a lot; it's the first plugin I load in my other hosts, and I run both Maschine and Kore standalone for my live rig. There's so many things that I can do in Kore as far as routing goes that I can't do with Maschine. ew |

Thanks and cheers. Kore has been indispensable for me. It gets used in nearly everything I do and some pieces are nearly all Kore. ---- Rob O |

Not really dropped is it... there just won't be Kore2. Still works perfectly well and is converted to run on 64 bit... . |

Not really dropped is it... there just won't be Kore2. Still works perfectly well and is converted to run on 64 bit... . I think you mean won't be Kore 3. And it might not work perfectly with the next Mac update - in fact there's a good chance it won't if this signing thing affects everything that is already installed as well as new software. ---- My free patches here http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm My Soundcloud page: http://soundcloud.com/amused ![]() |
