It's Lonely When There's No Sax
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6185854/kvr%20songs/Metalifuxx%20-%2 0Lonely%20When%20No%20Sax.mp3 A short little experimental idea with sound/effects design. Done with only guitar and ampsims. Sometimes it's fun to make the guitar not sound like a guitar or make it sound like some other instrument. |

You're probably right. But I don't have to make a conscious effort for this to happen Anyway, I enjoyed this. That lead sound reminded me of Steven Wilson on the early PT albums. |

Awesome compliment. Huge Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree fan. "Up The Downstair" and "The Sky Moves Sideways" are favorite albums. I go in phases when I like listening to their early psychedelic stuff to their newer heavier stuff on "Fear Of A Blank Planet"/"In Absentia". Valhalla Shimmer reverb was used on the lead track. It gives anything that PT/Steven Wilson vast ambient sound. |
