u-he/Urs,
Will the ZebraHZ be offered as a trial version to current Zebra owners? |

Nah... ZebraHZ is really just Zebra with a few add ons (some coming to Zebra 2.5.3 as well). The real thing are the sounds which we'll demo extensively in video and audio.
Zebra3 however will have a trial mode, once it's there. |

Urs,
Thank you for answering! I assume Zebra 2.5.3 will be free for existing Zebra 2 owners (licking my chops)? I will be anxious to see what that includes! Will Zebra 3 overwrite Zebra 2? Or can we keep Zebra 2 and Zebra 3 as separate softwares if it will change the sound of our existing Zebra 2 patches? |

Yep, 2.5.3 = free update.
Zebra3 will sit next to Z2, because it won't sound the same (refined algorithms, maybe some features altered) |

Hi there,
I got the impression from somewhere, that Zebra HZ has slightly more Diva-ish filters but only uses one core. If anyone who has it could tell me if there is a noticeable difference in the filters and if its any heavier on CPU than Diva I would greatly appreciate it. Oh, and how awesome is DZ generally in your opinion? Im not so interested in using the sounds themselves as seeing how they are made. |

It also has the compressor for each channel... I use those more than the Diva filters... I only use the Diva filters in HZ sometimes cause of the cpu hit. And lots of presets simply don't need them. Then there are the places where they hit it and it is great having them in there. Howards presets are remarkable... dissect them, use them, they are easily worth the money by themselves. |
