I am using an HTC Android cell phone, and for several months have been accessing the KVR forums successfully until a week ago.

What happens is that I get into the forums, but the status bar at the top indicates that the message has not yet completed. When it does complete, I get thrown off the site and back to my cell main page, which means I am also tossed off the internet browser.

I have tried various approaches, e.g. getting into KVR then going to the forum using the menu bar. I don't appear to have a problem on the KVR home page or news page, but when I move to the forums, it knocks me off.

On no other web site am I getting anything similar, only KVR Forums.

Anybody had a similar problem and solved it??

I have been accessing KVR forum on my Samsung Galaxy II phone and never encountered that issue. I am using Dolphin Browser not the stock browser.

Thanks for the tip. i just looked up the Dolphin browser on my phone and am downloading it. I'll try it and see if it could be the default browser not liking some changes that KVR may have recently put in, since it's worked for a couple months prior.

Nope... Unfortunately, the Dolphin Browser accessing KVR forum acts the same way as the default browser.

I do get logged in correctly, but the connection ends when the status bar at the top gets to the end.

Gonna try to access forum without log-in and see if that helps.

Same problem whether doing the auto log-in or just accessing the site without logging in.

Any troubleshooting tips??

I have the same problem on my tablet but only when I log in, stock 2.3.7 browser or dolphin.

Opera Mobile is ok though and my Galaxy S2 works fine as well.

Hmmm. I've just tried it logged in (non admin account), and not, on my old Samsung Apollo running Froyo / 2.2 without issue. I tested with images on / off, JavaScript on / off and plugins on / off. I can't say it was a pleasant experience but it didn't crash. I wonder what's causing it.

I suppose you've tried clearing your cache and cookies?

Yeah tried that to no avail.

The KVR page gets to about 90% loaded and then the browser closes.

All other websites seem fine.

I'm on the stock browser too.

There WAS something I changed about 8 days ago to fix a minor problem with opera. Perhaps it has affected Android's browser. I've just reverted the change. Does it still crash? I guess you may have to clear you cache to be sure.

I cleared my cache and cookies and it still crashes.

Seems to be HTC related no?

It works fine on my Droid Incredible. My big complaint is that when I click on the red user bar at top right, the popup menu is covered up by the adjacent banner ad.

Not sure if it helps, but it certainly depends on which browser I use on my iPhone. KVR is fine in Safari and Chrome, but I have lots of issues in Opera.
