I tried it on drums and it sounded pretty good. I don't really need it though, as I have many (many) others of similar type. I'll probably keep trying it, I'm interested to see if it does keep the dynamics intact.
The Stereo Turbo is a nice touch, and the price and CP (Serial I think) are good. ---- PM me for 10% off at the FabFilter shop (New Customers Only). |

They are similar types, but have very different implementations. I would say that Faturator has more control, but Sausage Fattener has a better sound. For me, Sausage Fattener was an instant like. It's very easy to put on a track and get a good sound. I haven't been able to do that with Faturator. It maybe something to do with the controls being fiddly, or that could be just me. ---- PM me for 10% off at the FabFilter shop (New Customers Only). |

Nice 8bit style GUI, but else... sounds like standard food to me. |

Like khanyz said, Faturator and Sausage Fattener has some similarities, but are fairly different at the end of the day. I personally use Faturator more for individual tracks and not so much on a full mix, while I know a lot of people like to use SF on their master chain. Of course both plugins can work in both ways though, and it depends a lot on what you want to achieve. There's a fully functional demo available on our web page, feel free to download it and give it a try! |

I just purchased this fantastic little plugin. I really dig both the look and sound.
The only things I wish for are: -'normal' mouse behaviour on stereo turbo (drag up/down instead of left/right; or option) -mouse wheel support (FL Studio) Also, Faturator is having problems declaring/updating parameter values to the host (FL Studio 10). Would be nice to see the values then I can work out how the plugin behaves. Not bad for a v1.0.0 release though. I could use it like it is |

Will try to get your suggestions into the next version if possible. (We'll try to figure out what the problem in FL with the parameters are as well, shouldn't be doing anything special.) |
