Old text below - see last post for more details

Some preliminary experiments - I posted some of these sounds a few pages ago in the main Padshop thread but couldn't save them properly at the time due to the bug so saved them as Kore sounds instead:

many very experimental - a lot using the same sample but trying to see what it does (including a set of Berio inspired vocal sounds) - should all use the factory Padshop samples (apart from 2 included user samples)

I've added some more presets, mostly made using the Chaos Machine Koresound - 43 presets now:

Thanks a lot for sharing! Kind of you. :)

I really like the Sinebell, is that a factory sample?

Yes, I made them all using the factory samples. It's just the bell sample layered with a pure sine wave. btw I renamed that patch "Vibe drift" in the bank as I felt it had a more Vibesy feel but with the addition of the drifting clank of the bells in the release.

Love that sine bell patch and the vocal mutterings thing is interesting too. I'm tempted to get PP but wonder whether it really does much beyond what a lot of Reaktor ensembles do?

Post

Well I have both, the advantage of Padshop is mainly its accessibility and playability.

For Mac users I've made these available now as aupresets as well:

Incidentally, I have also converted the entire Factory, Pro and addon library to aupresets now, for convenience in Logic (as the built in preset loader is naff) but I'm still waiting for the OK from Steinberg to say it's OK for me to post them.

Updated this bank to include some new patches - now 55 of them including a whole set based on a GW Bush sample I used originally in a track many moons ago during the Irag war called Babelonia (still available here) that was based on a 7 second snippet of Bush saying "We have no evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq":

http://fingermarks.co.uk/music.htm

for that I used Reaktor to mashup the original sample beyond recognition but now I have made a new version using Padshop and Kore 2.

This zip contains the Padshop Pro patches, plus the Bush user sample and a Kore 2 ksd with 8 variations that have endless possibilities in themselves.

A new piece made just with the Bush patches and nothing else (honestly - even the nice bits are Bush) is here:
