Thanks for your help, but I got no email from IK, and going into my IK account (which I got from the Miroslav Philharmonik, and STfree) show no dl or serial# for Sampletron.
I only got the free extra sounds dl'ed from the Esoundz account.
Maybe I should try to contact them then... Why can't companies make things easier.

edit: Oh the number just came up now in my Esoundz account.
That took a long time actually. About 8 hours. Oh well.

OK, I've got a different download problem. Got serial, and extra sounds from e-soundz. Went to IK site where I downloaded,registered and authorized Sampletron. Only problem is that the IK download did not have the basic soundset for Sampletron included, which was apparent from the size of the download. What do I do now ?

go back and have a look again in your account; there should be 3 separate downloads for Sampletron.
you'll see a download for sampletron; then below on the left is 'sounds' click that for your content.

Its in a weird drop-menu, I almost missed it myself.

Their authorization process is absolutely painful.
I had to re-authorize Sampletank Free, but everytime I try it says my IK authorize tool is outdated and needs to be updated. I auto download the update page it sends me to, but after installing, and going back to authorize STfree, it then gives the same "must update" message again. I tried several times with the same results.
IK multimedia is not worth the wasted hours I've spent with this f'ing authorize tool.
Although I have two other of their products...the free one is giving me the most hassles.
Unbelievable. I give up.
And those free sampletron sounds do not work with sampletron either.
They won't load, and a message "these are not sampletron sounds" comes up.
What a headache.

Good news and bad. Found the "Sound" tab in my IK account .....but.....whenever I hit the download button I keep getting a "403 Forbidden" message. I see from the IK site, others are now having the same issue--so I just put in a support ticket. Guess I'll wait for further action while listening to Squid's stuff

I got it as part of the IK bundle and I think for Tron sounds its good. I am not a big fan of Tron sounds personally but this gets use sometimes.

I bought Sampletron, but the process for registering and downloading is absolutely painful. I didn't even need the software, all I wanted was the sound library.

Had that message also using Internet Explorer. Firefox worked fine.

If you decide to buy this from esoundz (and if you're gonna buy, you'd be wise to go with esoundz -- they are throwing in free sounds you can't get elsewhere) be sure to give someone's REFERRAL NAME when you order -- so you BOTH will get epointz.

Yes, they can. I have all my Sonik Synth and Samplemoog Combis accessible from the Sampletank drop-down browser. I never open the other programs.

Hey Jsp, where did you put them, folder-wise to get them to come up on Sampletank?

Put the combis in the combi folder, and the sound library in the STInstrument folder.
