one thing that i don't think has been mentioned is that (afaik) the current 49euros deal only offers upgrades/support for MUX VST v1, while the full 75euros cost covers MUX VST v1 and v2 (whatever/whenever that is). it's a bit confusing, and i'm not even sure what v2 is or will be.

But surely there will be the possibility to upgrade for a fee.

Looking forward to your 'write up.'

Jo gave users who bought at the 75 euro price the option of getting the discount but I chose to keep upgrades through V.2 and support development. I may buy MuLab just to give him more money Smile I sincerely with MUX all success as that would likely mean healthy future development.

No doubt, if I had the option of the cheaper version when I purchased I probably would have taken that, but once giving Jo my money I couldn't ask for any of it back Smile

And note, that even if the MUX is the first commercial VST release, Jo is making the buisiness with MuTools since 2005 or perhaps earlier, dunno exactly...

MuLab was steady developed since then...
No need to worry about future updates/upgrades...they will come for sure.

I think he was referring to the additional future cost he will have to pay to get to v2 and just buy it now for $49....
I think.....

Anyhow, thanks for the video. Here and there I pick things up. Keep going Thumbs Up!

So, "alt" is for setting the knobs either L/R/C? Is that just something I stumbled on or feature?

Yes. It's for that.
Have you noticed how good is the mouse wheel ( or drag) on the knobs values (and sliders etc.) with the ctrl, shift and alt?
MuLab has the best wheel adjustments ever made. Shocked

Here's my Strum Electric MUX that allows you to play chords and melody in any scale/key and still keep the right hand strums playing with the right keys. It uses two instances of piz's midiKeySplit vst and his midiScaleChanger (in my screenshots this is shown as a red 'Editor' module because I renamed it). You should be able to see the necessary settings in the screen shots. I also threw Guitar Rig and a couple other effects in there, as well as a mixer Strip to get a master gain for the whole setup, which is located on the front panel. All the buttons to launch the plugins are big too Smile except the Editor which doesn't really need to be accessed that much since the controls are reproduced (and ordered better) on the main panel.

You should be able to right-click and view these images in full sizes in another browser window.

The same setup would work with anything where you need one hand to do one thing, the other to do another obviously. So you could put a chorder like piz's midiChords on the left hand and play melody on the right, or instead of having them play the same instrument you could create whatever split setups you need. MUX is very helpful for giving flexibility to my cheap keyboards Smile
