great new issue of computer music mag. a very detailed, in-depth look at their top 10 synths for 2012. plus they talk to the developers (so people we know from this forum)...and they asked some artists for their fave synths. interesting choices. still have a lot to read thru. well worth picking up.
(the only thing they missed, LOL, was a chance to ask lennard of sylenth1 fame when he's gonna update the plugin, and give us a 64bit mac AU. i myself ask this regularly on the kvraudio forum, and am famous for it). of course, my top 10 list is a little different... |

Got it last week. Yeah, my top 10 is different too but still pretty close. It's more about the order. |

Lennart is Sylent(h) except he DID talk to CMM. but he won't answer ANY questions about updates, etc...anywhere (sigh). |

Is it ok to list the top 10? I would love to see the list, but I'm in the US, that isn't on our shelves yet... |

liked the depth review of each synth... need to begin to create my own patches and stop being a preset chaser |

It was a good issue, nice reviews and tutorials but I thought Alchemy and Diva would have been higher on the list. ---- simon |
