A couple more sessions with Permut8:

First up is an ambient piece, mainly effected piano, with µTonic and Synplant on percussion and a bit of Synplant lead.

Once Removed

Next some mellow ethno groove with Rhodes, again µTonic and Synplant on percs and some samples of my daughter's voice. Most parts processed through Permut8.

Run Together

Thanks to all who have a listen. Smile

I really liked the reverbs on Once Removed. The sounds were really beautiful. Great melancholy atmosphere.

Run Together began in a very eerie, haunting manner and was later hijacked by some unusually cheerful melodic phrases. I loved the vocal snippets.

Time for tea

Good work Smile

Thank you guys!

Reverb used here was B2, but I think the reverb-y effect that's most noticeable on those pianos is more Permut8... it can do something akin to a spring reverb.

I enjoyed both of these quite a bit, the first three minutes or so of "Run Together" most of all. Thanks, polyslax.

Once removed: Nice and mellow. Thanx for that! Smile

Run together: Nice glitchy tune. Has some native american feeling, cool.

both songs are very different and very good! Smile for some reason "run together" reminded me of the vibe of one of my favorite bands: traffic!

I like the rhythmic progressions and variety on Once Removed.

Run Together has a freeform Bitches Brew vibe to it, very nice, the tinkly keys, erratic bass are great.
cool stuff.

Once removed is my fave. The piano really sounds like it's in an old room, with a sad old woman playing it.

Depressing really HiHi
