has a curious in time out of timeness about it, together with the eastern kind of instrument sounds, has a vibe that seems outside usual traditions. Octatracking sure sounds like fun, and this sounds very inventive.

I very much enjoyed this. Lots of soft sounds to transport me off to other places. I think this is my favourite of your Octatrack pices so far. So chilled* and that bass sound was so warm* and hypnotic. Great clicking and squeaking too. Most satisfying. I'm off outside to the garden for a ciggie.

Good work Thumbs Up!

Glad you enjoyed it guys and thanks for the feedback! Lots of fun recording stuff into the Octatrack and messing with it. The Octatrack was also running out thru a Strymon Timeline for added knobular goodness! The bass sound was created with Soundtoys Tremolator and Permut8.

I particularly like the bass and the minimalist click track.
It reminds me of 2 things..........twin peaks , and a track by calexico called "hot rails" cos it just has thisdeep southern flavour to it that i find both mysterious , and intriguing. Very hypnotic too. I wouldve happily listened to another few minutes of this

A well-spent evening.

It sounds like :
After work relax on the edge of an eastern town/city (twilight).
Enjoyable

Cheers

Good stuff. I like the sound that's a bit like powerlines. Thanks, polyslax.
