Well, let's remind ourselves that this is KVR, and we are talking about people talking about best softsynth than talking about what best softsynth is.

http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/whats-the-best-vst-plug- in-synth-in-the-world-today-571397

The list is rather interesting however. And I did place a vote for what I think deserves more recognition, because it doesn't hurt. It is a meaningless list, and I have to admit I have my "top 10 softsynth" in my head as well, but all this "official" nonsense does get on my nerves sometimes. Confused And CM/FM, whatever you might think, does have a huge influence.

I just wanted to share the list for its own interest and so people can bash CM/FM yet again. Smile

Or bash me, instead Laughing

Yeah, it would be good to see "team support" spirit rather than a flamewar Very Happy Mature KVR.

The best softsynth was not in the list, so I gave my vote to a second best.

I really wish there was a best softsynth. I get tired of loading 4 or 5 different synths per piece I am writing.

Just to clarify, this list is entirely a MusicRadar thing. We've not had any involvement in it.
