Well, let's remind ourselves that this is KVR, and we are talking about people talking about best softsynth than talking about what best softsynth is.
http://www.musicradar.com/news/tech/whats-the-best-vst-plug- in-synth-in-the-world-today-571397 The list is rather interesting however. And I did place a vote for what I think deserves more recognition, because it doesn't hurt. It is a meaningless list, and I have to admit I have my "top 10 softsynth" in my head as well, but all this "official" nonsense does get on my nerves sometimes. I just wanted to share the list for its own interest and so people can bash CM/FM yet again. Or bash me, instead ---- It's all about the wavelets. I dream of the perfect additive synthesis. Yeah, it would be good to see "team support" spirit rather than a flamewar ---- It's all about the wavelets. I dream of the perfect additive synthesis. You can hire me if you are in Toronto! Contact for details. |

The best softsynth was not in the list, so I gave my vote to a second best. ---- No signature here! |

I really wish there was a best softsynth. I get tired of loading 4 or 5 different synths per piece I am writing. ---- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~* |

Just to clarify, this list is entirely a MusicRadar thing. We've not had any involvement in it. |

It's probably just me being dense as usual, but...I don't why those last paragraphs are crossed off (?) ---- FL Studio 11 / Music Creator 6 Touch / One / Firebird+ / Aalto / Alchemy Player / Cumulus / Scanned Synth Pro / Strings Dream Synth / Consequence / Wusikstation / EVE / Harmless / Ohmboyz / Mobilohm / Hematohm / Predatohm / Eos |
