This is the first track from our new album, which you can listen to on bandcamp. It's an uptempo instrumental that is meant to reflect its title.
Thanks to those that listen! John This link updated... http://allomerus.bandcamp.com/track/on-the-edge I have put together a film clip using video from NASA (Public Domain) that illustrates the wonder of being 'On The Edge' http://youtu.be/VQ8Y3kx0Vqo Last edited by Allomerus on Fri Jan 25, 2013 2:16 am; edited 2 times in total |

Good work. I liked it. It had a Crimson/Makajodama/Focus hybrid feel which gave the track a frantic edge that was most enjoyable. For some reason I was thinking that a violin or electric violin would work on here.
Good work |

Thanks Guys. Much appreciated.
seismic1: I like the Violin idea, there are some sections that I wanted to add something and violin would be a nice addition. polyslax: The drums are played by my brother, however he has an electronic drum set and can choose a 'kit' depending on what's required. e.g. this is a standard rock kit, but one of the songs we are finishing has a jazz kit as well as an 'industrial kit' (this is particularly cool) and another track has a 'gated' full on sound like 'Mama' by genesis. |

Updated this track at bandcamp by adding some violin. Some of it is obvious, in first quiet section, some less obvious, end loud section.

Thanks. I liked the idea of violin, although I used a cello.
Now all I need is to get a pink floyd feel into it as well. |

Added a link above to a video I put together for this piece of music. While the music could be on the edge of anything, I used footage from NASA (public domain) to highlight the wonder of space...

Very enjoyable Thanks seismic1. I thought space would be a good match for the track. I was also considering extreme sports/activities and had taken some footage but went with space... |
