Hey folks hope you are doing well.
Almost done this mix (still have some little tweaks to do) its not mastered yet and will make it go trough a d-box maybe. what do you guys think? as you will hear its a pretty complex song that go trough lots of style so it took me a long while to mix until I was happy. anyway hope you like and feel free to comment I wrote the song, played all guitars, keys, arrangements and vocals as well. https://soundcloud.com/patrickpleauaudio/plajia-playa-del-ro ck-ruff-mix Sincerely, Patrick ---- I'm currently producing, mixing and finishing my band's second album (prog-pop) due around April 2013. Brilliant - I love the way the tempo, volume and style change through the track, yet it all fits together into a nicely integrated whole. Really good stuff! |

Great track. I can definitely get the Led Zep and RHCP similarities. That's a killer riff, by the way. I like all the changes that the track goes through. The mix is very good too.
Good work |

Great job. I can hear all the influences you spoke of. Nice vocals and changes of mood. I like the changes by the way, nothing wrong with being wild! |

I think you forgot to mention Porcupine Tree, 311, MGMT, The Secret Machines, Queens of The Stones Age, and Janes Addiction, if you want to talk about more band influence comparisons |

Cool track, brilliant production! Personally, I would have saved that surfing groove that ends the last minute or so and made another song out of it, it's so cool. |

Very cool song! Engaging, well produced and really original... Some nice singing as well!
Just curious... what did you use for the drums? They sound very much "live" to my ears. |

Yep it's the real deal baby! recorded really home made .did some sound replacement.mostly kick but not that much. just on the verses to separate more the soft passages and heavy rocking ones (real kick) ---- I'm currently producing, mixing and finishing my band's second album (prog-pop) due around April 2013. I think you just packed about 20 minutes of music into 6! Highly original ideas. Lots of great changes. Excellent dynamics (Oh how rare that is these days), and a good clean mix too |
