I see:
Juno106
OSCar
MS50
MS20
SH101

But I can't work out the main one right near his head.
Is it the Kawai?

Random guess ...

Kurzweil?

I know he uses one now, possible had it for some time but may be not that long.

Peace,
Andy.

Some more info about producing Are You Shpongled here:

http://www.kuro5hin.org/story/2002/5/20/213047/569

Mentions the Kurzweil K2500:

http://www.vintagesynth.com/kurzweil/k2500.php

The image matches up reasonably well, although it looks like he may have coloured some buttons or summat.

Looking forward to seeing Younger Brother DJ set on the weekend, btw ... assuming I remember and happen to be in the right state in the right place at the right time Wink

Peace,
Andy.

Brilliant. If it was £300 I might have grabbed one to try. For ~£800 it's a bit expensive as a toy.

Great read. Think I've read bits of that before.
Curious what a Roland SH101 microphone is though, although I do know I want one Laughing

Is it a live YB performance? Presumably Benji/Prometheus is doing a show too?

The V.A.S.T. engine is what puts me of the Kurzweil keyboards. Immensely powerful but don't really have the time to do it justice, and definitely not a toy Smile

Haven't been through the full GS thread, but the k2000R is recommended early on. The rack model is on eBay now for a pretty decent price.

More info about the synth here: http://www.vintagesynth.com/kurzweil/k2000.php

Possibly missing a comma ... or circuit bent Smile

Oh yes it is. Almost cancelled this year, saved at the last minute so we're very lucky. Weather is looking perfect too Very Happy

DJ only. Prometheus is playing a solo DJ set later, so I assume it's both of them (well, it wouldn't be YB without eh?).

Should be fun to hear trance / techno remixes of the last album (which was excellent if a little different to the usual style).

Peace,
Andy.
