Suppose I'm approached by an independent label who want to license a few of my old tracks, what's the standard deal? I've been Googling around for a straight answer but it hasn't been forthcoming.

It should be fairly straightforward as I am the writer and performer of all the material.

So, is it just some one off blanket fee? Or is it on a per track basis? Or by track duration? I'm getting all sorts of possibilities thrown at me . Help

Why not ask THEM what their standard deal is?
Then think about what YOU want, and negotiate...

Spot on. That's precisely what I'm doing. Asking them them name their price then will go from there. I didn't realise the process was so 'fluid'.
