Only Blue
3:17 / 4MB mp3 or 3.8MB ogg

mp3 . . . . ogg

Lyrics:
I'm only blue, she said, because I'm choking
On air gone bad from stale jokes and
I'm only blue because I'm tired of living
But I don't want to die, I'm only blue

If only you, she said, could see things clearly
You'd hate me too, you wouldn't come near me
If only you were what I needed
Still I'm glad to have a friend, if only you

I'll take what I can get
I'll take what I can get these days

Used: MU.LAB, Audacity, Strip, Eos, Spitfish, Classic Compressor, ThrillseekerLA, XTrim, Roundtone, acoustic guitar, slide, MXL V63M.

Great! Shades of dark and light in the lyrics. Nice git-tars, tho the slide was hiding way back there in the mix, wouldn't mind hearing more of that. Nice croaking country vibe to the voice... sounds like you just killed a pack of smokes. Quite enjoyed it.

nice one, but yes that slide needs to be brought up a little bit more.
I want to thank IK for the trip to Hawaii and for letting me play with ST3 since January.

very nice laid back, but nonetheless lyrically twisted song. i think, the Slide is well placed in the back and: i  the voice.

we don't hear enough of your vocals, Dan ... let's have more.
Agree with the others about the slide.

Cool thing ! I like the half-sad country vibe.
Good vocal performance, that's very appropriate for the goal.

Cheers

This is cool! It has a human feel that allows the song to breath..

This track was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting Mr. Cash to show up but good thing he did :)
Really soulful. Amazing song!
