Hi all,
Sorry to have to pass on some sad news regarding Ian B - Ian Booth - who was a regular poster here. Ian passed away sometime around 17th January - a relative called on him on 18th January and found his body. I believe the cause of death to have been meningitis. His funeral is tomorrow (5th Feb) at Rowan Chapel, Stockport Crematorium, Buxton Road, Stockport at 10am. His cats are being looked after. As I'm sure you realize, Ian was very much his own man and often kept himself to himself and I'd not seen much of him over the last few months, but fondly remember some good nights in the pub and going to Burnley Blues Festival and other gigs with Ian. He'll be sadly missed. ---- Signature blocked until 5 posts made |

absolutely. RIP ---- To laymen, software development is something akin to wizardry. Neither time, nor effort are involved. If software is missing features they want, or has bugs, it is solely because someone has been too lazy to wave their magic wand. |

I've been wondering where Ian has been. I know he was having some serious problems with his health, but he hadn't posted about his cats in a while. R.I.P., friend. ---- "Be excellent to each other."
