Ambient artist and sound designer Samuel Landry has put out the call to drone artists all across the world to come together to join him by making drones exactly 3 minutes and 33 seconds in length. The result will be a compilation release containing some very talented individuals with the proceeds benefiting Samuel's new ambient record label. This is my entry titled "Diversity."

Something about this says extraterrestrial rolling-stock. It's got those SciFi vibes, but the metallic sounds on here suggest trains or some kind of heavy machinery. Very escapist indeed.
Good work |

I didn't think I would like a drone but this is excellent. I'm reminded of V'ger from the first Star Trek movie. This could be the soundtrack for a massive, ominous, alien presence that can't be stopped. Very well done. |

Very well done. Great minds think alike (or fools seldom differ) as I said 'elsewhere' |

The Album is excellent, I am not always into Ambient, but Chris' particular style really inspires me, I love listening to it when I'm in a really spaced out sort of mood and just really nothing thinking about anything else but the tracks, getting totally immersed. ---- Aiynzahev-sounds Resonance Sound Sound Designer - Soundsets for Massive, LuSH, DIVA, DUNE, Sylenth and others |

I bought the album "Language of the Ancients" today and gave it multiple listens while working. It holds together very well as an album and the production is very professional and polished. It's going into my rotation of ambient albums which I listen to while working.
Good job on this S1gns! |

You guys are so amazing!!! Production-wise, I'm using Simon's new Padshop Pro bank "Cosmic," adjusting parameters in real time for the base of the drone. I've also got a few instances of Alchemy in there...one running biomechanoid's dark space. As I stated on ambient online, this one took me out of my comfort zone which turned out to be a REALLY good thing! You will definitely be seeing me work more like this in the future. Cheers to all of you!!! -S1gns |

Really like the Diversity track. 3:33 nice idea too. Dark ominous rolling energy drawing me into the center of some powerfull upwelling of energy.
Flapping wings of metallic birds break the the murky surface.. ---- waves break, but somehow it all makes sense. |

Well now, that's pretty cool (from someone who never says 'cool'). It so unusual to here entire tracks without someone yaking all over them and burying what you're trying to listen to.
Phone interview sounds like it was a lot of fun too. |
