Hi,
Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to achieve the sort of sub bass in this track? Everytime I try, it sounds awful. The one in this track seems to have a lot of low end energy, but also seems very controlled (if that makes sense). Mine always sound so messy in comparison. I know that I should be going for a sort of sine wave, but what processing/eq etc should I be looking to add to get this sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmCKzWoL-_k |

you can do it with a 800 kick and a low sine wave |

Sounds like an 808 kick sample to me. No FX required. |

hmmmm I'll have to have a go at that. Would you say the same for this one too?

2nd vid is a sub bassline. 1st sounds like an 808 kick. Not the same. ---- Latest Progressive/Hard Trance releases on Hyperdrive, Metamorph, Transfixion, Bleach, Alien Tech - Free Downloads - http://soundcloud.com/100mg |

Sounds like a sinewave with fast but not clicky-fast attack, medium decay, medium-high sustain and medium-fast release. |
