Hello everyone,
Just to let you know I have made a new Kontakt instrument called ZOM ZOM for Kontakt 4 and 5. Huge sample library of a Polymoog 280a Sampled at 24 bit. Also sampled the main outputs and the direct outputs for Vox Humana as well as Var modes(variation mode). Scripted to use very little CPU and Direct from disc streaming uses very small memory footprint. This is based on a Polymoog 280a synthesiser and reproduces all the sounds of a 280a including var modes. Loads of extra features added including filters, LFO's effects etc. I have added a really nice tremolo which sounds great on the analogue pianos. Gui has been designed by Anders Hedstrom (Flavours of Lime). All sounds (except drums) are from Zom Zom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSLxZEpK5BE?&feature=player_d etailpage http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/idie.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/complex.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/observer.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/distopianfuture.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/airline.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/numa.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/cafe.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/electrojazza.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/darkroom.mp3 http://www.synthmagic.co.uk/zom/me.mp3

Yep, me too.
It was " Are 'friends' Electric" for me back in '79. The Pleasure Principle is one of the few albums that I can still enjoy listening to from beginning to end |

I'm obsessed with the man(not in a sitting outside his house at 3am kind of way) I even like 'The Fury' album that he made with The Wave Team using PPG synths. Lots don't like that album for some reason. The synths and drums are great on it. Not sure about the red bow tie though |

Brilliant...a definite buy in a month's time, right after I recover from the hole in the pocket that is the Ableton Live 9 Suite upgrade - a necessary evil! Don't care if I'll miss the pre-order offer...I owe it to you anyway, Stephen! |

...oh, and am I the only one who gets a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever "Change Your Mind" emanates through the speakers? |

One of my customers has said he is working with Chris Payne from Tubeway Army in a couple of weeks - He said he has told him about Zom Zom. Wow..Chris Payne.
I was always looking over at Chris Payne during a Numan concert to see what synths he had. The Beserker video has some great shots of Chris and the Keyboard rigs he used. Last edited by synthmagic on Sat Feb 16, 2013 4:19 am; edited 2 times in total |
