I love it, but then I'm sucker for tribal beats I think you have a little "mastering problem" -- your main tom tom sound, eventhough having a nice and wide left/right stereo field, is coming over a little muddy. I would remove the section from ~1:04 to ~2:02 so that the "~2:00 drop mark" starts at the "~1:00 mark" instead -- I jut think that section gets a little too muddy and doesn't really add anything new... Other than that, good work. The only other friendly suggestion is to perhaps add a little 'High Freq Sizzle' -- some eq'd hit-hats, a "clave" of some kind -- this should help give you another element to play with the arrangement as well as "fill out the spectrum". Again, I listened all the through == good work |
