It was working fine until I had a Microsoft auto-update the other day, and then it started behaving strangely. When starting up with a defined default preset, it just won't make a sound. The meters all move but zero audio coming out. I can then load a preset and it will fully load the kit, but if I just try loading a kit then nothing still. Does anyone have a clue what is going on? This is on Win 7. |

Hej Braj,
have you installed the latest updatre for BFD2? How it works in standalone mode? Have you tested 32/64 bit both? Whats you DAW? have you checked the FxPansion forums? cheers T |

Yep, it is the latest, I didn't try standalone but it works fine in Studio One. I haven't tried both 32/64 but it was working fine previously (I'm in 64).
The main thing is likely understanding what changed and how to go about changing it back, I imagine. Maybe it has something to do with file paths or presets, I don't know but that seems likely since nothing is loading when it loads until manually doing it myself, which obviously is a big drag when it comes to working on anything with BFD2. I'll be posting about it at FXpansion soon, just I'm always logged into KVR so asked here first since there are lots of eyes on this forum. |

BFD ECO loads and works just fine. I almost wish I would have just stuck with ECO actually, I can send out a snare for processing if I need it, I rarely use all BFD2's internal effects unless they are attached to its presets. And I can't say i make the best use of all the velocity layers ect. that make BFD2 preferable over ECO. Anyhow, I'll use ECO until I figure it out. The GUI is a little more straightforward anyway. |

And it seems to be working fine again. It's just weird. |
