"When The Doves Cry" ?!? Is this really a song title? Mein Gott I have never heard a cheesier song title in my life. I think this might make a good thread topic.... Worst song title ever.
Which of course has absolutely nothing to do with your excellent cover !

Nice production, mr.me. This is a great cover of an '80s classic. Very enjoyable indeed.
Good work

Actually the correct songtitle of the original is "When doves cry" (without 'the')spirit wrote:"When The Doves Cry" ?!? Is this really a song title? Mein Gott I have never heard a cheesier song title in my life. I think this might make a good thread topic.... Worst song title ever.

I'm glad I'm not the only stickler. In fact, most of the lyrics are different in this version which I find bizarre.No_Use wrote: Actually the correct songtitle of the original is "When doves cry" (without 'the')

Love what you did to the song! Nice vocals and very nice mixing!
I do think it could use a little more 'background' layering -like a subtle pad or some ambient noise to make it a little less crisp and give it more body and presence -but that's just my opinion
