A very repetitive minimalist track.
It felt kind of therapeutic to make it. I hope you find it soothing.

Beautiful...
I love the dormant pads and the wireless/radio sounds.
Brilliant work! :tu:
All the audience cares about is being fed a stream of songs that they know and can sing along to.

Thanks! I didn't expect any feedback a month later.
The pads are Albino 3 and the radio bit is the BBC Shipping forecast from the day I made the track (ran through Uhbik-D, PSP Nitro and Aether)
I'm glad you enjoy it.

Wonderful, really enjoyed it… but, to be honest I wished at times that the bit-crushed weather report would go away so I could listen more to the music. :)

I would probably eq some of that crushed effect out to take away that constant nagging frequency, reduce the volume of the clip and perhaps fade it out part way through and fade back in toward the end.

Anyhow, just a thought, still a lovely piece.

As you suggested, it's a lovely therapeutic listen. Just relaxing before heading off to bed. Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys.
I agree with you Matt that the crushed radio might be a little too overpowering but I decided to keep that way to add some realism.
It's supposed to be a distant shortwave radio feed (like the shipping forecast was broadcast years ago) that the listener has to put up with and which contrasts with the soft piano parts.
Coastline was inspired by the game Dear Esther, which is a fabulous experience, and ultimately is not a track that should be deliberately listened to but simply heard in the background.
