This is the first track on my latest ep "Geometric Beats". The full ep is available on bandcamp:

http://samplescience.bandcamp.com/album/geometric-beats

If you have the time to listen to the full ep let me you what you think of it. It is a downtempo, ambient track influenced by early '80 synthesizer soundtracks. Think of it has an "update" of the kind of music you heard in early '80 zombie flicks!

Cheers! :)

Nice song but what happens at 3:58? The rest sounds like a part of another (different) song... :o

And the beat could be a bit more prominent, I could nearly hear it...

Thank you for the feedback! I agree with you for the beat, it's really in the back, but since it's a chilly track I thought I'd let it go like it... The part at the end sounds different indeed, I'm experimenting with samples and loops, trying different sequence and mix recipes. I really dig the guitar part at the end even if it sounds different compared to the rest of the mix.

This tune definitely transports one back to a bygone era. :-) The progression was engaging. Sort of a tense, uncertain vibe. I could easily picture this as a soundtrack to an 80s video game. :-)

Thanks for the comment! :D I'm really proud of the track, but somehow I think the composition could be reworked.
