Yes, I went and did it - I wrote a love ballad to a blow up doll!

https://soundcloud.com/synthetic_aurality/blow-up-doll

DANGER ADULT LYRICS! Well no four-letter words, but erm.. it IS a blow up doll..

Loops from Guitar Kitchen Vol. 1, vocals by me, MMMultibandReverb, Voxengo Voxformer, Kjarehous Classic Delay, PSP MixPressor, PSP StereoEnhancer, Akustix, MAGNETIC 2. And 2 beers, and one shot of vodka before I could sing...

Well, you're in some good company - Roxy Music and The Police have both tackled this subject matter in the past. I really liked the sound of the guitar loops. I thought I could hear some plosive action on the vocals, which was being accentuated by the reverb (unless the heavy breathing was intentional)

Good work :)

Thanks! I was trying to get some feeling into the vocals - I'm a horrid singer, only with Voxformer was I able to get close to what I wanted.

Heavy breathing - intentional! :hihi:

Laughed my socks off.
Don't fret about your singing, it sounds fine, you could even get away with less reverb.
Maybe change the lines "Don't run away from me" to "Don't float (fly, slide?) away from me"
LOL Steve

She could play "hard to get" if you filled her with helium. A new exercise regime
