I added some new songs to my music website, but I think what would interest you the most is the song on top named "Pitbull", most of the synths are Zebra. There is some real electric guitar also. Please tell me how you like this song and how it can be improved. Here is the link:

If you review my music, I will review yours, I promise! So far I have had 19 songs that have received radio play, including a song that was played on the radio BBC. As of April 22nd, "Pitbull" hit #1 out of over 32,000 songs on soundclick's "Indie" charts. Thank you u-he!
New song with mostly Zebra synths to check out!

hi aaron!
cool, some very nice synth sounds in there!
the electric guitar in the intro (power chords) seems way to loud, it really breaks in in a cruel way. The Percussions that kick in at 0:40 are eally cool, the synth lead too. Also the bridge beginning at 1.04 is nice. but the following guitar solo in my opinion distorts (haha) the whole thing. the mix and sounds in the solo part is nice but it sounds like taken out of a different musical style and just slapped in there. so i would play a different guitar solo, slower, less notes, melody (think 80ies-TV-Commercial or so ). the final part beginning at 1:50 is interesting again.
So have a look at the balance, play a different solo and maybe arrange it in a way, the more interesting parts are repeated. My 2 cents

abi,
Thank you for the reply! I appreciate it! On a different forum: some people liked the "metal" solo, and some people thought it did not fit the style of the song. I can understand either opinion, and realize that this forum is more synth-oriented. Others mentioned the guitar was too loud: I mixed this on headphones, so maybe that has something to do with it. Are they still making Fords in Cologne/Koln? I had a 1976 Ford/Mercury Capri with a V6 that was made there, for 6 years. If you have any tunes you want me to review, just leave me a link.

yes, they still make Fords here
well, i´m not exactly a synths only guy, in fact i´m quite into metal music. i was trying to say that i like a guitar solo over the synth arrangement, but maybe something more "hooky". but, that´s only my opinion!
thanks for your offer, will let you know!
