A first try with my simsimiyya - a Jordan harp

some time ago I succeded in finding a simsimiyya, a sort of harp, in Jordan

the manager from hotel in Aqaba (Al Qidra) helped in me in this search...

This is my frst try playing this instrument:

It was recorded (very fast...) with a zoom h4n in multitrack and then mixed in sonar 8.5

all the sounds comes from this instrument...

i'm here again with a new short experiment with this instrument:

this time I added a didgeridoo and some percussion.
as time is always short, i recorded everything on the fly with a zoom H4N (in multitrack mode) and mixed later in sonar.
