Softube Tonelux Tilt - thoughts or alternatives?

This plugging looks pretty cool as a quick "problem solver." Anyone use it? Any thoughts? I would have purchased it already if it wasn't so expensive. (can't justify the price to save a little time when I can probably setup EQ curves that do something similar). Are there any cheaper alternatives out there?

TAL-USE = Free

Used to be called Tilt

Boz Digital Labs seems to be working on a competing product right now.

It is great plugin that can nicely shape sound. It cant do any surgical cuts buts is very useful and fast tool for making space for every instrument in the track individually.
I dont own this plugin but i use Premix CM for similar things.

sonimus sweetone is the same thing and works pretty well.

Soneq pro is awsome, by the way.

DMG EQuilibrium has tilt shelves and Melda EQs have shelves that act as smooth tilts across the whole spectrum.

I believe there is talk of adding a tilt band to the Slick EQ GE too :)

I hope that helps :)

I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...

I bought Sweetone (no demo), but couldn't get the same results so I had to buy Tonelux, too.

They're both good, but they're not the same.
Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

TDR VoS Slickeq GE will feature a tilt eq, and should be cheap.

The op is looking for a tilt eq and they're both tilt eq.

Thanks for pointing this out, this gem has a very similar curve to a Softube Tonelux Tilt, it's practically a steal :tu:

Did I mention it is free! :D

Could you test Sweetone in VST Plugin Analyser and post a screenshot?
Use Tilax / Normal modes.

where's the ugliest plugin gui thread again? :hihi:
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

From the product page:
Product Description

You may be wondering why this plugin has such a dumb name and ugly interface. This is by design. We are working on a bigger better version, but we wanted to get this into your hands now.

Sorry, I have no VST Plugin Analyser and the one made by Christian Budde (the only plugin analyzer I know) works only with 32-bit plugins.

Ah, sorry. Didn't know about that.

Thank you all for the replies!

I think between the free elysia and the tilty wilty I'll be fine for now. Then when Softube has their next sale (hopefully a repeat of last years 50% summer sale) I'll probably pickup the Tonelux.

I personally choose not to support sonimus given their business practices (no demo versions + no refunds if I dont like it = no purchase). I could understand no demo versions if they allowed for license transfers or refunds, but there is no way I'm going to support a company with policies like that!

If anyone else has any suggestions or experiences with the plugins mentioned please share!

I have found Elysia's frequency curve a bit strange in VST Plugin Analyser and not at all similar to Softube's, but if it sounds good who cares.

I share your opinion on Sonimus, I don't support their business practice either.
