Ok there are a lot of great IR reverbs in VST plugins..
BUT! One serious disadvantage of using it is the fact they are not saving IR files with the project. Thats why i love Convolution reverb in Ableton and Reaper. They saves all your impulses with the project so if i move my IR library around or move the project to another computer i still can open a project without problem.

Now i understand it won't happen in the near future, but i hope this FR will be recorded at least.

Convolution is actually fairly straight forward, so I'd suppose it's a just a question of priorities... I'd be curious to see how they implement it. A convolution module wouldn't necessarily be limited to only reverb applications.

cheap (40$ with IR's - 20$ without IR)

and do the trick perfectly ! (saves IR's)

(altiverb is out-priced... and SIR2 is exactly same as XR-1 & is 149€... SIR1 has latency -.-)

edit: in xr-1 (1.1.1 )both 32 & 64 bits vst dll were not detected by BWS, i got to go in prefs/plugins... (there an error), then u rescan all, then it detected the 64 bit dll.

Only interested if it can run dual stereo (True HD) Impulses. I use SIR2, after struggling to use ReaVerb as Dual Stereo, I payed for the ease.

A native Convo verb with modulation capabilities would be nice! Convolution is a great sound design tool.

the XR-1 DOES true stereo (EDIT: i think it does also 5.1 @ 96 k 32bits , dunno what is true HD, u can DL the demo and the manual..) : u can import 2x2 channel (4 channel IR), L stereo and R stereo so u got true stereo.)

also it have ZERO latency !

really it's "given" and powerfull if u got good IR's.. if u search for quality at good price dont go further...

SIR2 was good too, i hesitated between SIR2 and XR-1 and for 110€ less without "nice images" i took the XR-1 : tested both & they sound same. (with same ir..)
& for wideness u use bitwig's "tool"..

all I'm saying... this is something i would love to see bitwig do a collabo on... Audio Thing did an incredible job with the fog convolver and i would love to see it become native in bitwig similar to how the glue became native to ableton.

again, i not received my mpx reverb de chez lexi... (edit: yet...) but i still believe that BITWIG'S REVERB SOUNDS JUST AMAZING FOR DARK "ROOMS" RAVE AMBIANCES !!! (believe me or not.)

normally the factor (postman) pass apport me my sent Ilok2 key dongle... so i will install my lexi MPX license.

in PURE fantasy, i needed something "different" like pro's say....

a bitwig reverb for dark raves..........
a lexi for pure verbs.................
a convo verb (for ambs) (i chosen this RX-1 which amazed me !)

so like pros.. i can test more. but it got a price ofc. even i chose cheap BESTS ones :
