So ill be getting paid tomorrow for some audio work ive done in the past few days and will be buying studio monitors. I'm quite set on the MR8's having read many reviews. I will have $700 to spend but are the 8inch models going be overkill for a home environment?
Also would love to hear from MR Series users. Any regrets? Totally happy? Other?

I hear more raving reports about Adam A7X, about the same price bracket.
With monitors it's like shoes: TRY before you BUY !!!
Get a DEMO in a real shop and let them play well-produced music you know really well how it should sound. They're all different, and must be what YOU like.
