Fatal...Almost (Electronica)

I'm attempting to get to grips with Catanya at the moment and also creating half decent drum patterns.

Started with creating the drum pattern, added a simple melody and then fired up Catanya to practice arpeggiation.

Came up with this ...

It's pretty basic but I quite like it and hope to flesh it out over the next few weeks.

There are no effects added. Just the instruments as is. I'd really appreciate advice on what effects I could use and how to use them.

As a beginner I'd appreciate some advice and I'd really appreciate some feedback.

You're off to a good start.

I suggest you try to differentiate your A and B sections. They use some different sounds but share the same chord progression. Use different chords in the B section.

Also the arp becomes monotonous after a while. It would be nice to have some sparse sections without it.

Maybe add a C section for additional interest. I would work on improving the composition before worrying about effects.
