Thanks! :tu:
Do I understand correctly that Flexi is an extended version of Wideboy?

Post

Very generous, thanks. I never really used the ones I bought much, but it's probably because I didn't spend enough time with them.
Good reminder to go back and see what I've been missing.

Cool. Will check 'em out! :)
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Essentially yes, the difference is the Oscillators.

WideBoy has 3 Flexi-Oscillators - each dual voice, multi-mode.

Flexoid has a Flexi-Osc(dual voice, multi-mode), a Multi-Osc(8 voice) and a Morph/WaveTrain Osc(up to 16 phases)

The rest of the architecture is the same.

You can check out more info here: http://www.chriskerry.f9.co.uk/CK_VST.html

Click the short links to the appropriate synth/fx then click the '...Manual' links above the price.

**Note: my ISP won't let me update those webpages anymore, so ignore the price/pay links.

I recently went and had a play with them again and realised they do offer a wide variety of sound options if you can spend a little time with them, and decided to give them a new lease of life

BTW: You should also take a look at Gunnar's ME80v2.1 - even though I programmed it for him using my own Custom Audio CK_Engine, this synth has inspired me to create my own music again - and it is available on Win/Mac 32/64bit :)

Very generous of you, Chris. I've owned Wideboy and Flexoid since they were released and always enjoyed them. They should now get the credit/praise they deserve

It has always been very affordable, why didn't people buy it when it was still commercial? 8)
