Midi mappings software

Hi,
After 18 years of dj'ing and almost 22 years as a producer, i'll start a live act with a fellow dj and i'm trying to figure out if there is a software like Microsoft Visio for midi mappings. One were i can insert all material we will use and easily map everything on the software to have an idea of what will connect with what.
I hope you get the idea?

I'm not exactly clear on this - are you trying to make like a stencil of your gear to write their assignments on, or are you trying to find a program that will actually do the assignments for you this way? I don't know of any software that isn't manufacturer-specific that will automatically map controllers from a diagram like that, or that have the ability to create a diagram from your mappings.

If you're just trying to make the stencil, tracing a picture of the controller in a free program like Gimp would probably be easiest. Then you can just type/write in what each control does on the traced outline, or print them for easy reference.

A mix of both will be ideal! But yeah, i'll do my own drawings.
