How to create Stutter Effect / "repeating" / Looper..?

Hi,

i"m searching a plugin oder technique to produce a stutter / repeating / looping effect i'm often hearing in electronic music. i love this effect but until now i've never found a good or "the right" way to achieve it.

unfortunately i cannot find another example right now although i'm hearing it all the time..

I hope u understand what i'm searching for. there re some plugins like effectrix or artillery which are coming with this kind of effect but its not exactly what i'm looking for.

Maybe you"ve got some other ideas?

The easiest way is probably using stutter edit.

also lots of Max for Live glitch effects ... sometimes you justhave to roll your sleeves up and do it by hand with a sampler/ wav editor.

All those effects could be done with the plugins you said you didn't want. Plus any of the other things mentioned in this thread. Or you could build something in reaktor. Or use the finger for reaktor. Or use any of thousands of free stuff made by people. Or spend 5 minutes editing the wave in your daw.
