2012 macmini - snowleopard? from my mac pro

well I managed to snag a 2.3 quad core i7 server edition - a few days after they disappeared from apple store - was hopeing for a 2.6 but all had gibne by the time I got to the shop!!

anyways I have Samsung SSD 840 Series in my creaky old mac pro ( 2008 version 1 )

I did actually partition it when I first put it in - so I could have a b/up operating system


I am wondering if I could ditch one of 1 Tb SATA fom inside the server,,,

and run a dual booting system? ie one in the mavericks that mac mini came with


and 'reuse' the snowleopard partition for my legacy products


havent even opened the cellophane on the mac mini yet.,,,,

Not sure Yosemite will run on that... but you may as well give it a try. The worst that can happen is that it doesn't work.
