The LinnStrument comes in a nice white box with snug fitting inserts and a compartment below the LinnStrument for a few small accessories, such as a power adapter, MIDI cable, etc. The box comes with a retractable handle so that it can be used as a gig bag, as it were. Despite the excellence of the white box as a value proposition, I searched for an alternative.
Today I received a Novation gig bag designed for the Novation Mininova synthesizer. This synthesizer has 37 mini keys. The Mininova bag fits snuggly length-wise, but is loose in the width and height dimensions, primarily because the Mininova is more than twice as thick as the LinnStrument. The Mininova bag has several pockets, one of them is sized to hold an up-to 15" laptop. The Mininova bag color is metallic blue. For those who like black, I believe IK Multimedia has a gig bag for its "Traveler Pro" that may fit. Roger Linn tells me he is working on getting a suitable case for the LinnStrument.
If anyone comes up with other good candidates for a LinnStrument case or gig bag, please mention them on this forum.

I'm using an electro-harmonix pedalboard/bag hybrid thing. It's a little too big but better than nothing. Thinking I'll have to fashion some inserts out of something. Surprised at how few soft-case options are out there for anything but the most common keyboard and mixer sizes.

On Amazon I saw a $45 gig bag from SKB made for the FCB1010.
