i dragged wav file and it didn't auto detect root key.
is it based on file name?
what i need is auto detect root key regardless of file name.
also can't find tracking option.

Edison in FL Studio doesn't do a fine job at detecting pitches. I've tried 10 different single notes and it only detected 2 of them properly. I got it "free" with my FL Studio package so I'm fine with it, but I wouldn't recommend it for pitch detection. Is there any good pitch detection software anyways? You can always use a free pitch detector VSTe like GTune. With it and your ear you can probably do a better job than Edison...
