I just saw some news on the Tangerine Dream website which states that Edgar Froese died 3 days ago.

TD were one of my favourite bands back in the day. I still find many of those '70s albums to be unsurpassed in their originality and execution.

Very sad news

I saw them in Croydon on the Stratosfear tour. That was a real jaw-dropper. Great gig.

Mine was the 1982 'Logos' tour in Sheffield. Although the album was recorded in London, the album cover is from the Sheffield concert.

I always felt that album was under-rated. It had some very heavy, dark passages that scared the hell out of me at the time.
